After School Clubs

We have many after school programs for the students at Oak Heights.  Here is a list of them and a brief description of what each program does.  If you have questions about any of these programs, please contact the office or the lead instructor for each event.

  • Move 60! – Miss Brekkaa (PE teacher) is the lead instructor for any questions
    • Move 60! is a FREE program in the Edmonds School District.Thanks to Verdant Health Commission, the program continues to provide our students in grades 2-6 with the opportunity to participate in 60 minutes of physical activity 4 days per week.
    • Monday-Friday 3:15-4:15
    • Fee: FREE (3 separate sessions and must sign up)
  • Bricks 4 Kidz – Toni Wilson (twilson@bricks4kidz.com)
    • This is a hands-on class using LEGO bricks to design and build educational models, including motorized machines!
    • Monday 3:15-4:15
    • Fee: $90
  • Hip Hop Kids Dance – Ms. Littljohn (2nd grade teacher) is the lead instructor for any questions
    • Hip Hop Kids Dance Fitness classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original hip hop and pop choreography. We break down the steps, add games, and other activities into the class structure. Plenty of time to FREESTYLE too! Hip Hop Kids helps to develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives by making fitness fun! Classes incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, teamwork, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, and cultural awareness.
